Blocs Wave is a fantastic app and delivers on its promise. It is constantly being updated providing even more features. I think its a steal at the price.

5 star app. Holding 1 star until they add and ability to copy and paste the slicer bars... this is a crucial feature that we need now. And yet, theyre adding so many great features every month as free ad ons!!! Just get it and support this great development team, oh...and give your music production nice boost, too.

LIKE THIS APP A LOT. BUT ID LIKE TO PLAY, CREATE A TRACK AND BE ABLE TO RECORD IT ON TO MY DEVICES, JUST LIKE THE LAUNCHPAD-APP. SO I HAVE MY CREATION READY TO BE EXPECTED TO ANY OF MY SOCIALS. CMON FOCUSURITE YOU CAN DO IT! THANKS. DJ ALEXIA.

got some great results by using auto button and assigning loops in ays i would have never thought of.. when adjusting loop length the volume slide keeps getting adjusted accidentally since it is so close. import of my loops works great i wash there was a way to edit pitch of sample.. lots of fun and totally different from most other apps in that it is very simple to get great usable results very fast ...

Simple as this this is a great app for beginners but if sampling isnt your strength you can get creative with this app to sample and export etc

You cannot record on the fly with this, yes you can export you hodgepodge built loops but they are all going at the same time. This app has potential but how can you charge $5 for an app thats missing a record option where you can turn on and off your loops to create your own mix. 2 Stars for creativity the other 3 are missing just like your record button is.

Downloaded this and then had something sick in about 10 minutes. Wish there was a way to record a project live (I dont think Im just not seeing it). bonus points for extratone capabilities tho.

Enjoyable app, super fast to create and I started with my own recorded samples, I agree, adding a pitch option would be great but so far very fun!

I love the design concept of the app. Less is more but… Recorded content is not available for selection in the library! Youre expecting this only to be some kind of content delivering machine? I would like for my recorded material to be viewable in the library. Just like it is in Launchpad Why only minor keys selectable? Im not impressed with the quality of the sample packs for purchase. It sounds like whoever put together your content was a programmer not a producer.

This app is beautiful and definitely fun to play with. I could see it becoming a very useful tool, but at this point, its mostly just a toy, or at best a sketch pad for coming up with quick musical ideas. It seems like its a bit confused as to whether its trying to be a live performance tool, or a compositional tool. With Audiobus and some external fx, you could do some composing and real time recording, but it lacks any internal fx which kind of kills it as a live performance tool. Being able to modulate fx and resample the sounds would add a major creative dimension that the app is sorely lacking right now. It has no way to record your playing without Audiobus, so that kind of kills it as a stand alone compositional tool. Also, you can import sounds into your mix, but the sounds arent added to your library - so you are locked into buying their sound packs if you want to expand your library. The export function needs some attention too. It would be useful to have an option to export each track separately for importing into a DAW like Auria or Cubasis. Overall, nice debut and an excellent price point, but it will need some great fx like their other app "Launchpad" and a way to expand your sample library without contracting your wallet if its going to get 5 stars from me. Fx automation and a way to compose patterns into songs would also be great to see in a future release.

This is a great app to make anything musically you can imagine but I wish (and deeply hope this will happen) that there was a way to do mass imports. I have a lot of loops on Launchpad and Audiocopy and I would love to be able to move those loops all at once to this app instead of in a piecemeal fashion. Great place to build from but hopefully this will be an added feature.

Its okay. But the cross-section of genre styles provided by this tool will homogenize your music production tastes. Sure its great for making music on the spot, but it will not make a better musician out of you. Great for the general public but cant see using this deeply if you aspire towards making unique music.

I think this app has a lot of potential but with no way to record your sounds and set the up on pages so you can put them in order its a gimmick.But other than that its pretty cool.

This is a high quality and good app for making quick music projects. But its not convening me that its worth the $5. If they gave away music packs for free it would be fair. It just doesnt make sense, because launchpad is free!! Be generous guys. But dont avoid the app just for that reason, its a sweet app.

This is a great app. I like making little jingles but the export feature seems par. Same as most. I do however see a growing trend in exporting to imovie.... Can you find a way to make this an export feature with this app?!

Novations launchpad was superb, but this app takes the cake. It is similar, but you can customize much more with this app. Excellent job Novation; however, there are a few key features which are missing, such as a record as you play option so you can turn sounds on/off and record the output. Also, there should be an FX which can be applied to each track, not just a single FX. This would give enormous variety to the already abundant collection of sounds available at your fingertips.

Novation has said on the forums this is a initial platform to be developed. I think Novation does good work so I spent my $5 and got in early. In the past they have listened to the end users ideas ... Heres my list. 1- FX on a per channel basis 2- separate outs for channels (giving ability to use AUM, audio bus, multi output interface) 3-midi hardware sync(live integration w/ gear) 4-finer tweaking on wave edit level.... 5-..... Will update when I think of more things Its a solid base to start on, good sound, clean interface, etc etc.. What we dont need is another "ideas or sketch pad" app...the iPad should be able to sit comfortably integrated in a hardware set up and be a %100 legit pro sound making tool. No reason Novation cant make this a superstar sample manipulation tool. btw... The free packs are nice...but some of us dont use content we didnt record/create/play ourselves. Make yer own sounds!!!!!

recording should be more adaptive, if this is supposed to be more than a toy. let us use any audio out, even Bluetooth, some of us dont mind the lag if were just listening.

This app could have launched with way more features. There are already tons of apps that do similar things that arent so limited like GarageBand for example. In this version you can not bounce a mix of loops down as one mixed loop. Just like Launchpad you can not share your loop kits / song project files probably because they want you to buy their loop packs and not be able to share them. This I find troubling because I would want to share my custom original loop packs without having to export each one individually. Obviously their focus is to generate revenue from their in app purchases which to me seems like greed over functionality. It would be nice to be able to save and share a project with loops as one container file. I give it two stars because it seems like a decent 8 track looping recorder but there are already tons of apps like Loopy HD that do this way better. My guess is they will add more features as in app purchases. I would be fine with that if this app was free but its 5 usd and not worth the five bucks IMO I would rather get a different app already loaded with features that cost a bit more. You can get GarageBand for the same price and it comes loaded with loops, instruments, and features.

This app is great for those who really liked novations previous app(novation launchpad) ,however this app needs some work done such as the fx and you cant record any of the things you made which was kind of a major set back for me but this is still a fantastic app lots of customization and many more other great features
